We're now in the second week of 2008 and I wanted to check-in with you to see how your year is progressing?
Last week I shared with you that getting one's finances in order topped the 2008 New Year's resolutions list. Amazingly, this superseded the normal favourite of losing weight… And then I went on to ask you a crucial question: Is 2008 going to be your year?
So today I'd love to know if you've had time to consider that question? Did you take action towards making 2008 your year? Did you get out of your comfort zone and do something that you really weren't in the mood to do or perhaps something you've been putting off for a long time? If you did, I'd love to hear about it!
Now you've probably realised that it's not really enough just to think about making this your year. With 2008 underway, may I suggest that you take control of your year today and take some action (that's if you haven't already) towards securing your dreams!
In fact, I'd love to share with you that this week I've been incredibly 'out of my comfort zone'. On Saturday, I relocated from Cronulla in Sydney (where I've lived my entire life aside from world travel) to regional NSW. My purpose for doing this is to fulfil my lifetime goals and ambitions. Like you, I've decided that 2008 is going to be my best year yet and I've resolved to make it a year of action. I'll be sharing more of this journey as the year progresses…
Now I should take a moment to clarify something here.
As you start to take action towards the fulfilment of your goals and dreams, such as getting your finances in order, you must be aware that not every action will produce the desired result. In fact, you may make some mistakes. But making mistakes is really an opportunity for learning and is just a necessary part of the process of getting to where you want to go.
And remember, as Napoleon Hill says "Action is the real measure of intelligence." So let's get into action… And don't forget to email me with your victories!
