Hello,
I was just looking at my Frequent Flyer Statement and it's quite amazing the number of flights I've taken in the past 12 months.
Just last week I made 5 flights in 3 days and flew back from Perth to Sydney on a large Qantas jumbo.
Now I don't know about you, but it absolutely never fails to blow my mind that a huge hunk of metal can take hundreds of people up into the air and deliver them safely on the other side of this great country.
And I'm not alone.
You see even today, there are isolated tribes in the pacific region that when planes or helicopters land, believe the occupants are, in fact, God.
Now whilst we smile at that thought, it was not so long ago that the entire western world would have thought the same. Or that any person that thought they could fly was in fact, insane.
Yet the truth is, we now fly through the air, not because anyone has been able to change the laws of nature, but because the inventor of the flying machine learned how to apply Nature's laws and, by making orderly use of them, produced the desired result.
So far as the natural forces are concerned, nothing has changed since the beginning.
There were no air planes in 'year one' because those of that generation could not conceive the idea as a practical working possibility. "It has not been done yet" was the argument, "and it cannot be done". Yet the laws and materials for practical flying machines existed then as they do now.
The great lesson we learn from this is the triumph of Principle over Precedent, the working out of an idea to its logical conclusion in spite of old beliefs and contrary experience which could hold you back.
For you on a personal level it simply means this, your Past does not equal your Future.
You may not have everything you want right now such as wealth, health and great relationships. Yet despite everything you've seen and been through so far in your life that makes you feel like you can't have it all, I know that you can! Everybody can, and it's simple!
Understand there is a natural law of supply and demand.
You can and should study the workings of this world, in particular the laws which govern everything, from the largest planets in the sky to a speck of dust on the ground.
Then, and only then, by patient observation and practice can you produce predictably better results. As a side benefit, your new awareness will rid you of any notion of superstition, luck or chance.
So ask yourself, in a world of absolute abundance, 'How is it that I do not have all the wealth I wish to have?
Is a body designed for perfect health, ask yourself, 'How is it that I do not have the perfect health I wish to have?
Take the time to write down your answers to these questions and be honest with yourself. Feel free to change the question to suit the areas in your life that you feel are lacking.
When you do this simple task, avoid the temptation to lay blame on other people and other circumstances that you feel have brought you to where you are now.
Sometimes the smallest tasks can seem insignificant yet bring the greatest learnings :-)
To Your Success!
Stuart
P.S. Do you know who the first man to fly was? If you said the Wright brothers, you'd be wrong. Contrary to popular belief the Wright brothers were not the first people to fly!
It was an Australian named Lawrence Hargrave in 1894!
The first powered flight was by a New Zealander named Richard Pearse in Waitohi, New Zealand, March 31, 1902. Google it and find out for yourself
